School Profile
Our program is available to Affton residents and provides the following:
- Certified Teaching Staff— Most of our staff have Bachelor Degrees and some have Graduate Degrees in Education
- Therapists on staff—Occupational & Physical Therapist and Speech & Language Pathologists
- Low Teacher/Child Ratio
- Developmentally appropriate experiences based on your child’s diverse strengths, interests, and needs
- Children must be three years of age by August 1 to enter our school
Affton’s early childhood educational program will offer:
Half day preschool for either two or four days a week. AM session time is 8:30-11:30 for three & four year olds. PM session time is 12:15-3:15 for older four & five year olds who will be graduating on to kindergarten.
Full day preschool for either two, three, or five days a week. Sessions will be 8:30am – 3:15pm. This program includes breakfast and lunch for the student. (Students enrolled in our full day program can take advantage of before and after care for an additional fee.)
A Summer full day program will be available. This program will complete a full twelve month schedule for our preschool student.
Monthly parent involvement activities and special events. Past events include Eckerts Apple Picking, Trunk or Treat, Winter Concert, a Rodeo, Art Show, Circus and a year end graduation ceremony with cap and gowns for our graduating five year olds.
